Did you know that artwork displayed in hospitals can ease anxiety and stress for patients, shorten length of stays, reduce the need for painkilling medication and improve communication between staff and patients?
The new King Edward VII’s Hospital Medical Centre understands why art matters, and in collaboration with the Zimmer Stewart Gallery, are thrilled to showcase 18 original paintings by emerging artists over the six floors of the new King Edward VII’s Hospital Medical Centre.
Future displays will see the Centre rotating art works to explore different mediums, styles and cultures.
