medical coverage for the biggest tennis events in Qatar, as the official medical partner of Total Energies
Open 2023 and Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2023
As part of the collaboration with QTF, Aspetar through its unique programme, the National Sports
Medicine Programme (NSMP), provides top-notch medical services, including physical therapy and
sports massages, to all participating athletes.
The Qatar Total Energies Open 2023, running from February 13 to 18, and the Qatar ExxonMobil Open
2023, to be held from February 20 to 26, will feature nine of the world’s top ten tennis players and is
expected to be one of the biggest events on the Qatar sporting calendar this year.
Committed to the well-being of athletes, Aspetar provides world-class expertise and services to tennis
tournaments by offering a wide range of medical services, including on-site clinics and ambulances.
Around the clock, Aspetar provides medical coverage for the training matches and on-court
interventions, consultations in the clinics and massage therapy for pre-matches
preparation, recovery, injury treatment and coordination for emergency referrals to Aspetar or
external partners.

Aspetar’s sponsorship of the tournament began in 2011 with an agreement with the Qatar Tennis
Federation (QTF) and the hospital has been QTF’s medical partner since 2008.
